It was a hot one, but it is August in Ohio. We had a terrific field of 100 players battling it out on all three nines for the chance to be this year's Champions. 2025 Ladies Solheim Cup - September 29th
The Solheim Cup is played over 27 holes with three different formats, a Best Ball, an Alternate Shot and Singles Matches all played with handicap (net). There were 24 ladies who battled the golf course and their competitors to earn points for their team and the chance to win the Solheim Cup. Team Red took an early lead with a 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 win in Best Ball and then added to their lead with a 4 1/2 to 1 1/2 victory in modified alternate shot. The Blue team started a strong comeback in Singles play, but fell short losing 6 1/2 to 5 1/2. Congratulations to the Red Team in their 14 1/2 to 9 1/2 point Victory. Special Thanks to Toni Soule and Cathy Mucenski for all their help.

2025 Turkey Shoot - November 1st
We had a beautiful day for our Annual Turkey Shoot on Saturday, highs in the 50's and plenty of sunshine. This 2-person Cross Country Event is played over the Original 18 holes and we played 14 holes this year. There were some crazy angles and tough shots into greens, but this gross and net event is always fun, plus a little turkey dinner afterwords. 2024 Benevolent Memorial Fund Golf Tournament - June 2nd, 2024
The Benevolent Fund was established in 2014 to assist our local Elk Members who are in need of assistance. The tournament is an 18-Hole scramble with two separate divisions, an open division and a mixed division, with 9 of the 18 holes played with a bonus hole location, USA Flags to assist with your scoring. The event is a net scramble based on the teams total handicap, less a base team divided by pie and the number of players. We would like to thank all 80 players for playing and raising over $4,000 for the fund. Here are the results

We setup another great 18 hole Par 3 event over the original 18 holes. The format is an ABC draw, Two Best Ball Event Gross. The holes played from 63yds to 160 yds, different angles, lies and greens that sometimes went away from you. To kick off the Bengals Pre-Season the couples event was a scramble format where points were awarded based on the stableford scoring system. The Solheim Cup - September 22nd
This year's Solheim Cup was put together and assisted by Judi Sears and Hilda Hodges. The Solheim Cup competes over 27 holes in three different formats, Team Best Ball, Team Alternate Shot and Singles, but this event is played Net. There were 28 ladies who battled the golf course and their competitors to earn points for their team and the chance to win the Solheim Cup. Team Red took an early lead with a 4 1/2 to 2 1/2 win in Best Ball and then added to their lead with a 5 to 2 victory in modified alternate shot. The Blue team struck early and often and won the Singles matches 8 to 6, but fell 2 points short. Congratulations to the Red Team in their 15 1/2 to 12 1/2 point Victory.

This year the Ryder Cup had new Captains and some new players, we want to thank Justin Epure, Jeff Stine, Wes Fidler & Jeff Hogden for their work on helping set up the event and creating the pairings. We had one really good day of golf weather wise and a tough start to Sunday. The rain came in a littler than expected and the field played the first hour or so in wet conditions. We stopped by due to standing water on a few greens, but resummed about an 45 minutes later to finish up the Championship. 2022 Solheim Cup - Sunday, September 25th
The ladies chose their teams and battled it out for the 2022 Solheim Cup. The event is a 27 hole match play event, net played over all three nines. 2022 Benevolent Memorial Fund Golf Tournament - October 23rd
The Benevolent Fund was established in 2014 to assist our local Elk Members who are in need of assistance. The tournament is an 18-Hole scramble with two separate divisions, an open division and a mixed division, with 9 of the 18 holes played with two pins on each green. You had the option to putt to a regular cup or an 8-inch cup. The event is a net scramble based on the teams total handicap, less a base team divided by pie and the number of players. We would like to thank all 64 players for playing and raising $3,200 plus additional donations for this year's event. Here are the results

2022 Turkey Shoot - Saturday, November 6th
We played a new rotation this year, Blue to Red and had unseasonable warm weather this year. So, we setup 13 holes on the Blue to Red rotation with a ton of trees, blind shots and unfortunately we had 25 mile an hour plus winds. The weather was good, but the wind was tough. Thanks to everyone who played and enjoyed a little golf and turkey dinner.
