The 2025 Golf Season has arrived and the MGA would like to welcome everyone to another great year at the Elks. The MGA organizes five events each season, a Spring Scramble, our Par 3 Tournament, a Fall Scramble and The Stampede and a Greenskeeper's Revenge. 2025 MGA Spring Scramble - Birdies or Better
The first Spring Scramble was a total wash out and once again Mother Nature turned on the rain and we had to reschedule for May 31st. The day started off a little cold, but a least it was dry. We had another terrific turn out with 100 players battling it out trying to make as many birdies as possible, congrats to the winning team and thanks to all the Sponsors and the MGA Board.

26th Annual MGA Stampede - July 18th - 20th
Another great Stampede, we had near perfect weather, it was a little hot and we did get a shower, but another great tournament that crowned a new Championship Team. We started off the event with our Annual Putting Contest, Calcutta and finished with a new event, Long Drive Championship. Congratulations to our putting champs and to Jack Holmes & Wes Fidler for winning the Championship belts. Promise no pictures. A beautiful Saturday for our final MGA event of the year, the Fall Scramble. We had 72 players battling it out from 3 different sets of tees (choosen by the team) for the chance to win the event. The format was ABCD draw based on Handicap and then the team selected which 6 holes to play from the Blues, Whites or Reds. Long Drives & great putts won the event, congrats to this years Champions.

The 25th Annual MGA Stampede - July 19th - 21st
We could not have had more perfect weather this year for the 25th Annual Stampede. The conditions were perfect for Mid-July with temperatures in the eighties and low humidity. The 21st was first day of fall and it was a hot one, not just the scores but we had temperatures in the 90's and very low humidity. Our Fall Scramble is a 6,6,6 event where we play 6 holes from the Red Tees, 6 holes from the White Tees and 6 holes from the Blue Tees. 24th Annual MGA Stampede - July 14th, 15th & 16th
The MGA Friday Night Putting Contest & Calcutta started off with near perfect conditions, fast greens, plenty of beverages and a fair but difficult test of putting. There were only four teams that went up for bid on Friday Night and they all were bought and some were sold back Saturday morning. Saturday was a grind for all players, dodging wet conditions, two different rain storms and about 12 hours of golf, but we did get done and we knew great weather was coming on Sunday. The flights tightened up after round #4 and most of the flights came down to final matches. Congrats to all flight winners, our wild card team and thanks to all that played this past weekend.
